In a resort that emanates so much of the nature surrounding it, it is only natural to provide a dining experience that is devoid of the trappings of a concrete, normal hotel. Hence we have created a dining experience that is non-formal yet fulfilling of your holiday needs.

Our chefs at the SAJ Hideout are tutored to provide you an unlimited, mind you, unlimited, mouthwatering fare all the time. Most importantly they are also self- trained to understand your palate and accordingly serve you food that is as you want it while you relax at the Hideout. Our kitchen is open from 7am to 11 pm and you could choose to have your breakfast, lunch or dinner at your convenience and on your own sweet time.

Part of our unique dining experience is the limited cuisine range, serving only ethnic Kerala cuisine in traditional earthen pots. We serve tea as you get it in any local tea shop in Kerala and the cookies and bread we bake are done in-house in our traditional baking oven style, instead of serving factory made breads. We also thought to maintain our `back to basics' philosophy, we should showcase local cooking styles and so local tribals will introduce you to their cuisine and to the exceptional simplicity of their cooking. To keep the dining experience even more simple, we suggest to our guests to set their menus, pluck up their favorite vegetables from our organic vegetable garden, walk into our kitchen and get our team of chefs to cook you your special dish, under your strict guidance!
